Help fill in St Georges History
We have found loose photos, photos in envelopes, in boxes or on poster boards all around St Georges. We are trying to gather them together to put into photo albums to be displayed in the Narthex and Library. Some of the photos are no marked. If you think you could help identify some of the people and events, please see Rose Exum or Carol Thomas. We have also started an album that begins in March 2006, when Connie+ came to St Georges. If you have any photos that you would like to donate to this project, please let us know.
Martha's Closet Needs
Pantry:
cereals, canned meats, tuna helper, macaroni & cheese, pork & beans, chicken noodle soup, whole tomatoes, mixed vegetables, spaghetti sauce, spaghetti, canned pastas, small boxes of different flavors of rice, diced tomatoes, stewed tomatoes, peanut butter & jelly, peanut butter cheese crackers, canned fruit, applesauce, dry fruit drink mix, juice, dry milk, fruit cups, pudding cups, instant pudding and jello.
Closet:
girl's underwear - all sizes including women's sizes, girls socks, boy's underwear (briefs and boxers) including men's sizes, boy's socks.
Baby:
socks, layette sets, blankets, undershirts (colors preferred) and bottles, diapers (newborn to 2 year).
Offerings can be left in the basket next to the Resource Table in the Narthex.
Grocery Scrip/Cards Available
We are selling Giant scrip cards. You can purchase these after either service. Please see the counter on duty. With each purchase, 4% goes to St. George's. Don't forget the other opportunities with Safeway and Amazon. Please see current information concerning Safeway.
