Reverend Connie Reinhardt

Reverend Connie Reinhardt

The Rev. Connie Reinhardt was called to be St. George's second rector in 2006. She is passionate about God's grace, good liturgy, and the power of Jesus to transform lives, among other things, and she brings a healthy sense of humor as well as the occasional sports reference to her ministry. Connie+ shares that she and St. George's were waiting to find each other, and she will tell you that this is the parish she always wanted, with its diverse, interesting and eclectic parishioners, a beautiful and contemporary worship space, and the opportunity to do creative liturgy and move the chairs around!

Connie+ came to St. George's after serving a parish in the Diocese of Massachusetts as Associate Rector for six years and has been a priest since 1998. She grew up in New Hampshire, went to Welleseley College in Massachusetts, and Yale Divinity School in New Haven, Connecticut, so she has strong New England credentials. She continues to be a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots, which only occasionally causes consternation at St. George's.

Connie+ and her partner Emma had a ceremony of blessing in 2003 and were legally married in Massachusetts in 2006.
