Welcome to St. George's!
Welcome to St. George's web site. We are glad you are visiting our site and hope you will come worship at our church. St. George's is a warm, energetic community where all are welcomed. Our motto 'shape a circle ever wider and a people ever free' is a good reflection of who we are, as is the banner outside of our church that says 'Join us around a table where all are welcome.'
Worship services of Holy Communion (also called the Mass, Holy Eucharist, or the Lord's Supper) are at 8 and 10 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Come and join us!

February 5: 9 AM service and Annual Meeting
There will be one service on Sunday Feb. 5, starting at 9 AM. After celebrating the Eucharist we will hold the Annual Meeting of St. Georges. In our yearly meeting the Rector will give the "State of the Parish" report, we elect new Vestry members and say thank you to outgoing vestry members, and do other business of the church. Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
February 5-12: Safe Haven
It's not too late to help out with Safe Haven! We can always use help with preparing and serving food, the overnight watches, and making sure the men are transported safely to shower and do laundry. If you would like more information, read this month's Wider Circle or talk to Joann Prosser or Gene Ferrick
February 18: Mardi Gras
Bring your colorful hats and a mood to party because it's time for our annual Mardi Gras Party! From 6-10 PM enjoy food, dancing, fun,
and the silent auction! We hope to see you there!
Also, don't forget to consider donating items or services from yourself or a favorite business to our silent auction.
Monday Evenings - Zumba Gold
Every Monday evening, St. Georges hosts a Zumba Gold Class. You don't
know what Zumba is? Well
consider dropping by and trying out a class, which starts at 6:30 PM and
runs until 7:15 PM. The instructor,
Eileen,
is fun to work with and you will find her class very enjoyable.
As you get in shape and have a blast, you can also help support our local
food pantry, Martha's Closet, by bringing in a non-perishable food item.
You'll receive a discount on the drop-in class fee rate by contributing.
So come try it out and have some fun!
